Find Your Courage

“If you are stuck and lost right now, and you are wondering what you’re supposed to do with your life next, I can tell you only this: You are supposed to find your courage.” – Elizabeth Gilbert

The Journey of Life

“It’s good to work hard, but you’ve got to learn how to play hard, too, so that you can stay in balance. I heard somebody say, “It’s not that life is so short, it’s that we wait so long to begin living.” If we want to truly enjoy the journey of life, we have to take time to stop and smell the roses. Do you appreciate the people you love? Do you hug your children before you leave each day and give your spouse a kiss? When was the last time you called your parents to tell them how much you love them? That’s how we can enjoy the journey.” – Joel Osteen

“When you wake up in the morning, you need to realize that today is all you have.
You don’t have eventually. You don’t have a series of eventually.
The beauty of life is today. How are you going to make the most of it?” – David Wygant

Many Ways To Happy

There are many ways to get to “HAPPY.” Ways that don’t require a white picket fence, 2.5 kids, or a minivan. The purpose of life isn’t so much about living Happily Ever After as it is just LIVING: boldly, wildly, bravely, unapologetically. Your life is your life and your path is your path and it’s unique and colorful and beautiful and purposeful…  – Mandy Hale

How You Should Treat Yourself

“Sometimes people think the Golden Rule is just about how you treat others. Delve deeper, though, and you’ll see that it also defines how you should treat yourself.
You can’t possibly exercise the Golden Rule in your life if you’re treating yourself poorly. To love your neighbor as yourself, you must first love yourself.
And that’s essential, because self-love, melded with a desire to help others, creates the motivation and drive that can change the world.” – Geoffrey James

Trust Our Way Through It

Sometimes when there’s uncertainty, we’re not meant to plan our way out of it… we’re meant to trust our way through it.

So, what that means, is that you lean in the direction that feels right, you take continual steps forward, and you trust that every single thing that happens is somehow – someway leading you exactly where you need to be. Easier said than done? Possibly…but, this is something we absolutely can get better and better at doing.

It’s just about reminding yourself everyday to trust the way things are unfolding and then you turn your attention to where it always should be … Today and the moment right in front of you.” – Sibyl Chavis

Asking is the Best Way

I can’t instruct you in exactly how to ask for things—it’s not my area of expertise, and there are too many variables to account for. Sometimes you have to be gracious and charming, and other times you have to be brash and bold. But generally speaking, it’s a surprisingly simple formula: Just freaking ask. Because the essential fact is that asking is the best way—the only way, really—to what you want. – Elizabeth Gilbert
